No, you don’t have to use your SSN. Lotus offers two identity verification options, and SSN verification is optional. If you’d rather not provide it, you can choose facial + government ID verification instead (a quick selfie match against your ID).
Whichever method you pick, the goal is the same: confirm it’s really you so only you can access your records. We also don’t share your SSN with third parties without your consent, and it’s used only for identity verification and account protection.
